A Functional & Legible Sans
Resort Sans is a normhardcore sans-serif family designed to be highly functional, neutral, and optimized for maximum legibility. Its core design reinterprets the distinctive architecture of the BS Resort family with a low-contrast approach, making it a perfect typeface for UI design, interfaces, and extended text.
The structure is rigorous, yet the vibe remains friendly and accessible. Its slightly condensed proportions ensure economic use of space while maintaining a comfortable reading rhythm.
Versatile alternates for every context
True to the family’s comprehensive system, BS Resort Sans includes several sets of thoughtfully designed OpenType alternates. While the default settings prioritize readability and warmth, specific swaps can shift the tone entirely:
• Default: features a double-storey a, a single-storey g, a straight l, a t with a curved terminal, and rounded dots for a friendly texture.
• Strict look: activate square dots and punctuation, plus the straight-terminal t to instantly create a more formal and rigid aesthetic.
• More stylistic options: the l can also be swapped for a version with a curved base to add a subtle variation. Uppercase letters Ä, Ö and Ü display distinctive titled terminals.
Weights, Italics + Variable
The family spans 10 weights from Thin to Black, each accompanied by an Italic (13°) and a Super Italic (26°), totaling 30 styles. A variable font version covers both weight and slant axis, offering seamless adaptability for any digital or print environment.
