Bolid System

Bolid System is an independent type design studio run by Arthur Schwarz and Maël Bächtold. With a shared background in visual communication and type design, we follow a clear and complementary approach. Both graduates of ÉCAL, we built a design practice that combines precision with forward-looking ideas. Arthur brings expertise in creative strategy, while Maël delivers mastery in art direction.

Together, we create typefaces ranging from bold display styles to extensive text families, always crafted with precision, purpose and care. We see type as a material that shapes how ideas are seen, read and understood.
