About this font

Year of release: 2025
Version: 1.0
Font Styles: 1
Design: Maël Bächtold
Team: Arthur Schwarz

BS Abriko is a free-minded display font, an impulsive typeface born from Maël Bächtold’s fascination with geometric drawings and expressive display fonts of the Bauhaus era. With a touch of naivety, it experiments with shapes and contrasts, exploring roundness, counter forms and unexpected proportions to give text a friendly yet unconventional presence. Despite its playful irregularities, every detail is deliberate. Contrasts are carefully balanced to maintain visual unity, even when elements are placed unconventionally or omitted from certain glyphs.

BS Abriko is available as a single display style, offering expressive geometric forms and playful contrasts suited for designs that seek a friendly yet unconventional typeface.
