BS Resort Serif

BS Resort Serif

BS Resort Serif is a high-contrast serif typeface grounded in a neo-grotesque structure. Its foundation is shared with BS Resort Classic, but the addition of hairline serifs shifts its tone toward something sharper, more formal. The construction remains strict and proportioned, methodical rather than ornamental.

BS Resort Serif Black Italic

Soft light slides across the tiled courtyard, tracing a pattern over the uneven surface. The air holds a muted warmth that seems to settle into every corner. Nothing stirs.

BS Resort Serif Medium

A faint shimmer rises from the distant shoreline, revealing the blurred meeting of sea and sky. The sand carries scattered traces of earlier footsteps, half reclaimed by the tide.

BS Resort Serif Black Super Italic

Some days are long, some nights never end.

Bountiful Landscape

BS Resort Serif Heavy (Alternate g)

Mist settles over the coastal bluffs, pale and deliberate, turning the limestone soft for a single passing moment. The landscape unfurls in faint transitions: dune grass, driftwood, and cooled salt. Air moves along the cliffs like a slow tide, carrying a tempered hush across the ledges. Far below, dark inlets gather the tide in irregular pools, shaped by seasons of steady abrasion. Every surface reflects distance, a record of storms pressed into texture. Shadows spread in long bands over the shoreline, shifting with each minute.

BS Resort Serif Extrabold

The price of excellence is eternal vigilance.

BS Resort Serif Medium Super Italic (Round dots and punctuations)

“Whatever happens next, it’s not gonna go down the way you think it is.”

BS Resort Serif Regular + Italic (Alternate g)

High on the hillside, the soil turns from ochre to soft grey. Narrow trails slip between scattered rocks, carrying the hush of the afternoon. Dry grass bends in slow arcs, marking the rhythm of the wind. The light, thin and persistent, settles across the slope with quiet intent.

BS Resort Serif Light

Wind shapes the surface of the white sand, rewriting it with every hour.

BS Resort Serif Light Italic

Light drifts across the plain, softening the edges of distant hills.

BS Resort Serif Light Super Italic

Water carves fine threads through the earth, vanishing into shadow.

BS Resort Serif Thin + Italic + Super Italic (Round dots and punctuations)

Dust rises from the valley floor, turning the air into a muted haze around the basalt ridge. A twisted shrub holds fast to the slope, its roots gripping the fractured ground. Small indentations remain, quiet signs of animals that passed before dawn.

BS Resort Serif Bold + Italic + Super Italic (Alternate l)

Shadows stretch across the terrace, brushing against the tiles and neatly trimmed hedges. A low murmur drifts from a distant suite, measured and polite, almost rehearsed. The air carries faint hints of citrus.

You walk here the way you’d step onto a film set, aware of being watched, never disturbed. Keys click, doors slide, and the corridors stretch their straight lines with almost theatrical precision.

With its vertical contrast, BS Resort Serif embraces the full clarity of the Didone tradition, while keeping a constructed, contemporary edge. The S and s retain a distinctive forward lean and the f features a striking upper curve.

Several alternate sets are included enhance versatility: the a and g offer single-storey forms; the l features a curved terminal at the base; the t has a straight terminal without curl; punctuation marks and dots include rounded shapes; and the uppercase letters Ä, Ö and Ü display distinctive titled terminals. The uppercase A, E, F and G feature heavy crossbars giving the horizontals a grounded presence.

BS Resort Serif is available in upright, Italic (13°) and Super Italic (26°) styles, each in ten weights, for a total of 30 styles, including a variable font.
